How to get here?

By car: Les Gavatxes / Beget is located 25 km north of Olot and Olot is about 60 km west of Figueres. It is about 2.25 hours by car from Barcelona airport and 1.5 hours from Girona airport.

By bus: There is a direct bus (AEROBUS) from Barcelona Airport to Plaza Catalunya and the TEISA bus (a service that connects urban areas) leaves near Plaza Catalunya, at the corner of Carrer del Conseil de Cent and Carrer de Pau Claris. There is a slower service to Castellfollit de la Roca (direction Olot) or the fast bus goes direct to Olot. Also from Girona Airport there is a bus to Girona Central Station and from there a TEISA bus to Castellfollit de la Roca. See www.teisa-bus.com (‘horaris’ means bus timetables).
Send us an email or call us in advance to let us know what time you will arrive in Castellfollit de la Roca or Olot and we will pick you up (we charge a small fee for this to cover fuel costs).

The bus takes about 2 hours.

Flights: The closest airports are Girona and Barcelona
A taxi for 4 people direct from Girona to Les Gavatxes costs €100.

From Figueres Train Station: The bus station is located to the left of the square in front of you as you exit the train station.
If you come by TGV to Figueres Vilafant, you must first take a bus or a taxi to the old Figueres city train station.
There is a TEISA bus that stops at Castellfollit de la Roca and Olot.

It is not advisable to take the bus at night after eight o’clock, because it is a bit late to pick you up.

If you walk out of the arrivals hall you will find the Aerobus stop right on the street; the bus comes every ten minutes.
Take the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya, which takes about half an hour.
At Pl. Catalunya, the one with the big department store EL CORTE INGLES turn onto Passeig de Gracia, a very large and busy street. You walk four blocks, turn right then then turn right again onto the street called Pau Claris (which thus runs parallel to the Passeig de Gracia). The bus station is at Pau Claris number 117.
You can buy the ticket there in the station.
The bus company is called TEISA and you take the bus to Olot.
The bus takes about 2 hours.
From the airport there is also the possibility of taking the train to Passeig de Gracia, and once there, walking to Carrer Pau Claris, and then following the directions as above.




From Girona Airport a bus goes into the town centre every hour, stopping at the bus / train station (they are next to each other).
You can also take a taxi to the train / bus station which costs about 20 Euros.
The bus takes approximately half an hour.

The bus takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The bus station is on your left of the square in front of you as you come out of the train station.

The bus leaves on weekdays twice in the morning and twice late afternoon, at half past 10 and at a quarter past one; and at a quarter past five and half past eight.

If you know which bus you are going to take, give us a call. Then we can begin the journey to come and get you. By car it’s about 45 minutes from Les Gavatxes to the bus stop in Castellfollit de la Roca.
There is only one bus stop, so we can’t miss each other. If you we are too early or too late, you can wait at Ca La Paula, a bar / restaurant in the street where the bus stops.

It is not advisable to take the bus in the evening after eight o’clock, because it’s a bit late for us to come and get you.
