Yoga and Meditation Retreat / May 24th – 26th
May 24 @ 8:00 am - May 26 @ 5:00 pm
About the retreat:
Bringing together the practices of yoga and meditation this weekend will aim to help participants to reconnect with the simplicity of being and the natural flow of life.
The yoga sessions will concentrate on hatha yoga, kundalini yoga and yin yoga, and will help us to sensitively and compassionately return to the body and breath/prana.
The meditation practice will be from the sammatha-vipassana tradition and we will use sitting and walking practices, both indoors and outdoors, to help cultivate an inner gentleness and kindness that can flow to ourselves and others.
Yoga will be led by Eva Fransen, meditation by Stephen Bushell.

Eva Fransen has practiced yoga during 25 years. She started her Hatha & Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training four years ago in the Yogaji & Durgaji Ashram in France, and she has been cultivating her teaching skills since then by undergoing and giving lessons both for adults and children. She has been also trained in Yoga Nidra and Children’s Yoga. Eva likes to integrate breathing and relaxation techniques with the Yoga asanas. She has been also been working as a retreat cook for the last 8 years and we will have the pleasure to taste her delicious food.
Stephen Bushell was born in 1960. Since the age of 20, Stephen has devoted an extensive part of his life to the practice of meditation. Trained as a meditation teacher within the Samatha-Vipassana tradition by the master Dhiravamsa, and as a Tai Chi teacher with Tew Bunnag, Stephen has dedicated his last few years to facilitating meditation retreats and reconnecting with nature for all audiences. Stephen has also been a Jungian psychotherapist for 20 years, and enjoys integrating his knowledge of psychology with the practice of meditation.
Some parts of the weekend we will be invited to be in silence as this will help us to go more deeply into the practices.
