About the Retreat

This retreat will focus on letting go of the programmes and conditioning we are brought up with, on letting go of the conditioning we had in our young lives through our parents, school and society. In that way, we will be uncovering the patterning of the way we think and thus feel.

 

During this week we will enjoy Yoga, Pranayama and Kria and use these tools to wake us up from all the unconscious patterning we carry inside of us. We will go deep inside our body-mind system, into our breath through the face, lungs and heart, into our connective tissue, into our capacity to feel and focus. We will enlarge the way we connect to ourselves and the way we feel, see and approach our space and time, and therefore, we will start to connect to the outside world differently once we make this journey inwards on a regular basis.

 

We will use the chakra system as our roadmap to guide us through the different stages of our evolution as a human being. Every day we will get to know a different chakra and all that they create and represent. During morning Sadhana, we will talk about a chakra and its physical yoga-practice. We have 7 days and 7 chakras to go.

 

Shining the light on this topic from an intellectual, a visceral, an emotional and spiritual point of view, we will strip us down from our culture and conditioning. Since we look at ourselves as a pure human being, the way everybody is built, before programming has set in, we can disidentify ourselves from the baggage we grew up with.

 

All the different forms of yoga practices are based upon cleaning out, rinsing, purging, shaking and directing the way back to our heart. Since there are so many different forms of energy, there are all different forms of de-blocking the flow back to the heartspace. Anke has 17 years of experience in teaching yoga. After learning and teaching vinyasa and power yoga (based on the Ashtanga-system) during 13 years, Anke got a diploma in Yoga Psyche Soul from Ashley Turner. She repeated this intense education for 4 years and after that she went to the Himalaya’s to become a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher with Kia Miller.

 

The combination of physical yoga or Asana, with breath work and Kria’s and knowledge of the workings of the mind greatly based on the insights of Carl Jung, have enriched her way of teaching in a profound way.

Anke has 17 years of experience in teaching yoga. After learning and teaching vinyasa and power yoga (based on the Ashtanga-system) during 13 years, Anke got a diploma in Yoga Psyche Soul from Ashley Turner. She repeated this intense education for 4 years and after that she went to the Himalaya’s to become a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher with Kia Miller.

 

The combination of physical yoga or Asana, with breath work and Kria’s and knowledge of the workings of the mind greatly based on the insights of Carl Jung, have enriched her way of teaching in a profound way.

We have 7 days and 7 chakras to go.
